Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng is the Chairman and Head Heart Surgeon for Mission Destiny Cardiothoracic Hospital Foundation. He is a world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon, founder and first director of the Cardiothoracic Center of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and former Chief Executive of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana with a focus on providing excellent private sector tertiary healthcare, is presently facilitating the establishment of Heart Centers in Ghana to improve the lives of those living with heart disease and also develop ways to prevent the disease. To accomplish this mission Dr. Frimpong-Boateng and other Colleagues put forth Mission Destiny Cardiothoracic Hospitals Foundation.
The Project entails the establishment of Heart Centers in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Western and Eastern Regions of Ghana in the coming years to serve the growing health needs of Ghana and the sub region. The Heart Centers will also provide training for surgeons, cardiologists, anesthetists, technicians and nurses involved in the care of heart patients.
Dr. Kofi Sarpong is the Managing Director for Mission Destiny Cardiothoracic Hospital Foundation. He overseas the overall operations for the foundation.
Mr. Philip Sintim Amoah (MBA Accountant) is the Finance Director for Mission Destiny Cardiothoracic Hospital Foundation. He overseas the finances for the foundation.
Mr. Michael Omane-Achamfuor (MS-Construction Project Management and Structural Engineering) is the Project Director for Mission Destiny Cardiothoracic Hospital Foundation (MDCHF). He overseas the major projects for the foundation.
